Miss Loretta’s new GoodenPlenty Projects
Projects in the works!
As you probably are already aware, I will be leaving for California mid-August and wish Indiana farewell. That doesn’t mean we will lose touch. There are some exciting changes going on in my life and I want to continue sharing them with you, my readers.
Making a stop through Idaho and Seattle to touch on some business associations and then home, to California where I have already selected and confirmed musicians and will be building my project as well as working with some old friends who have developed their own musical gifts into community contributions, ie studios, record labels, theater production, etc. I am anticipating being very busy.
Of course, as when on my annual tours, I will be working with Jaye Richardson & Friends and the great Ricardo Scales but, if you know anything about me, I need a project of my own as well. Also looking forward to re-establishing relations with Greg Anton and Zero II, as I settle in.
I am really excited about completing this gospel CD, dedicated to the memory of my mother for her dedication to music, especially the voice. She was my mentor and instructor, my manager and pianist. She is missed, to say the least.
Gospel a capella CDs PEACEMAKER and The MOURNER’S BENCH
with Pat McManus, due for completion and release in 2012. A Christmas CD with Doug Enoch. The blues CD, produced by Phil Hipskind, is almost complete; just need to lay the vocals, mix and master. You’ll be the first to purchase it!

Who knows what’s next? It will be, however, as it should be, God willing. Stay tuned!
